This month saw 8 homes sold in Closter compared with 2 sold in April, and is the same as 8 sold in May of last year. Spring Home Sales are in full swing right now in Bergen County, and mortgage rates continue to hover under 4% for 30 yr fixed rates.
This coupled with lower home prices makes it a great time to buy !
 
Closter is an upper middle class suburban town in northern Bergen County and is known as “The Hub of the Northern Valley.” While Closter’s elementary-aged school children are serviced by Closter Public Schools, high school students may attend Northern Valley Regional High School in Demarest, which services students from Demarest and Haworth as well. Bus routes through town provide transportation to commuters into NYC’s Port Authority Terminal in midtown Manhattan
