OpSail 2012 - The Parade of Sails on the Bay of Hampton Roads
Yesterday was the coolest day ever to be on the river... here are a few pics from our viewpoint during the Parade of Sails from OpSail 2012 on the Elizabeth River and the Bay of Hampton Roads in the Norfolk, Virginia.

OpSail 2012 Dates: New Orleans: April 17-24, New York: May 23-30, Norfolk: June 7-12, Baltimore: June 13-19, Boston: June 30-July 5, New London: July 6-8   Mission Operation Sail, (OpSail), a national non-profit organization dedicated to promoting goodwill among nations, and the development of youth through sail training, was conceived in 1961 by Frank Braynard and N. Following the endorsement of President John F. Kennedy, OpSail came to life in 1964 by successfully bringing the remaining tall ships of the world to New York City in conjunction with the 64’ World’s Fair.
