In an effort to raise money and awareness for Special Olympics.  Durham Region Police members carried the “flame of hope” through Uxbridge starting at 168 Brock Street West travelling east along Brock Street to Marietta Road.
Local Uxbridge students from Uxbridge Public School joined with The Durham Region Police Services in their Law Enforcement Torch Run in support of the Special Olympics
