You'll be taken back in time to when theses giants roamed the earth and survived for millions of years from North America, Europe and into Asia.  Learn the difference between mammoths weighing up to 16,000 pounds and the smaller mastodons through hands-on and interactive displays.
If you're in town for a visit you should plan about 3 hours or so if you want to tour the entire U.S. Space & Rocket Center.  It's well worth the time and you'll understand why Huntsville got the nickname "The Rocket City".
