Celebrate FreedomFest at Fort Polk, Louisiana, on the 4th of July

Why not celebrate the 4th of July this year at FreedomFest, Fort Polk’s celebration of Independence Day. 


 
The event will start at 4 p.m. at Headquarters Field.  There will be activities for the children, family readiness group game booths, static displays, food, beverages and more.
Later there will be  live entertainment by country music star Gretchen Wilson and Southern rock band .38 Special, followed by.....(drum roll please......)  FIREWORKS!  FreedomFest boasts one of the largest displays in South Central Louisiana.
