It had to be the full moon
A client wanted to tour a couple bank owned homes last Tuesday afternoon.  The temperature was around 100 and, as you know,  air conditioning is not something provided by those too big to fail.  The first place was a town house on listing day number one.  We met at the home for our scheduled appointment, and half of the double driveway was occupied by the folks ahead of us.  We decided to wait a few minutes to give them a chance to finish up.
Shortly thereafter, a car pulled up driven by what turned out to be another real estate "professional" who was screaming something out her window that I couldn't quite hear.  As I approached her car, it turned out that she was irate because the driveway was filled with vehicles and she had a showing appointment.  Not unusual for a REO listing, the appointments were stacked on top of each other.  I explained that we were giving the last party a chance to finish before we went in.  Her response was that she was going in right now because her appointment was scheduled for right now (so was mine).  With that, we decided to go ahead and enter the ... more
