Want to be Attacked by a Cash Mob?
Our local Buy Local campaign asks if your business wants to be attacked by a cash mob. Everyone these days is focusing on buying local and helping small local shops stay in the game. Last month our Chamber backed Buy Local group decided we would try a cash mob. We chose a business that we though could use a huge spike of business and mobbed them. To be precise we all got together and in one group went and ate at this restaurant. They were elated to see that many people on their normally quite Tuesday. This month we chose the chicken dinner our local Rotary was putting on. The paper called it the Best Year Rotary has ever had. We have decided to have any interested business put their name in a bowl and draw one at our monthly business after hours and that's where we will go. Of course I am not eligible all thought the thought of 300 people rushing in to buy a house would definitely stimulate my economy. lol.
