This month saw 8 homes sold in Washington Township compared with 10 sold in July, and is down from 10 sold in August last year. 
 
With Summer winding down, and kids going back to school, it becomes a priority again for many to address their housing needs before the end of the year. Mortgage rate continue, as they have all summer, to be at historical lows. And although we are starting to see more buyer offers and multiple bids in Bergen County, there are still some great deals with low prices on homes to be had.
 
It continues to be a great time to buy, and for those sellers who couldn’t sell, it may just be the right time to consider putting their home back on the market !
