Pet Safety on Halloween at Lake Sinclair
Janis wrote this great post on Pet Safety for Halloween about Newburgh, NY, but the advice is universal and applies to us in Eatonton, Milledgeville and Lake Sinclair too.  We have to crate our dogs because the costumes frighten them and frankly our dogs also frighten most little kids.  Think Safety first this Halloween... even with your pets.

A few common sense rules can keep your pets happy and healthy on the spookiest night of the year. The number one problem is CANDY! That bowl of treats can be DEADLY to pets. A waggy tail can cause a fire and a pup or kitten could get hurt.  Nibbling on pumpkin may not be toxic, but that decoration could cause problems.
