As a North Vancouver Home Stager, I've worked with many unique homes where we need to prepare the home quickly, by staging and getting the home ready and on the market to sell.  This means that often you just need to work with what you're given.  Renovations are often costly and take up a lot of time to complete.  In this particular case, this home, located in Lynn Valley, North Vancouver, had neither time nor budget.  What could staging do to help this Family Room look its very best for selling?
BEFORE

The Family Room was multipurpose - a kids' play area, t.v. viewing room and office.  We decided to minimize the "play room" aspect, and return the room to a den/office area.  We suggested packing up and removing the bookshelves.  Visually, this was making the room look small and cluttered.
AFTER
