Forget Linking...Building Link Relationships
I was very disallusioned with the work that I had found myself doing to "find links" of sites to link to my new website for Yucaipa Real Estate. I've read blog after blog, forum post after forum post about how "important" links are to get a top ranked website in Google. Aron wall of Seobook.com say that it is "the most improtant" part of the entire process.  This frustrated me as I searched for  ways to get some recognition out there.  All the directories I looked at were either too expensive, or just seemed..seedy...
I decided to take a different tack on it. I offer a newsletter about real estate, so I got to thinking, that it would be a good way to develop a relationship with a service vendor in a parallel industry if I got some answers from them about some industry specific questions and referred to them in my next newsletter. Now here's where it gets involved with linking. After I set this arrangement up with a local appraiser, I sent him a html text docuemnt with the article so he could post it to his website.
