Inauguration Ceremonies Had Me Riveted!
This is a day all Americans can be proud of--and we in Delaware can claim a spot on that stage. After all, the newly sworn in Vice President lives just down the road! Note: Delaware is really small, and he’s here with Dr. Biden when he’s in town and not at the Vice-Presidential residence on the grounds of the Naval Observatory in Washington.
I can remember when his boys played in the YMCA Soccer League during the same period when my 2 boys were also playing. And when the Wilmington Amtrak station was re-named the Joseph R. Biden, Jr. Amtrak Station in May of 2011, his whole family stood behind him and proudly beamed. When the newly elected Obama and Biden did a Whistle-Stop Tour 4 years ago, this memorable poster was sponsored by the Friends of the Furness Railroad District (plug: I'm on the Exec. Committee).
