Real estate market data for Jamestown, RI provided by Ginny Lacey Gorman of waterfront RI real estate, as follows for December: 
Single family homes on the market: 58 Single-family properties closed in December 2012: 7 Average sales price: $ 1,402,928 Sales price to list price ratio: 94% Average days on the market: 219 Sales currently pending: 3 Jamestown’s home absorption rate: 8 months of home inventory. Based on this most recent home sales data, the Jamestown real estate market is a buyers market.  However, many homes were removed from the market for the winter.  
Breakdown of the 7 Jamestown RI single family home sales is as follows for December: 5 homes sold under $300,000, 1 home sold over $400,000 and 1 home sold for over $1 million.  In December, the under $300,000 home generated the most buying interest.  
Home sales decreased by 40% over the prior month.   The 2012 Jamestown RI home sales market has had an increase in home sales this year with 15 more sales or up by 26% over 2011. Annual home sale prices have decreased by 9% in 2012 over 2011. ... more
