The One Thing You Should NOT Remove from a Sacramento Home at Closing
Like remote controls for garage door openers, another big problem with home selling that should not be a huge issue -- yet, I'm sorry to say, it is often the bane of our existence -- is carbon monoxide detectors. Ever since California passed that law requiring every home to have a carbon monoxide detector, those things have been a problem.
Oh, you might think you have solved the problem because, as a Sacramento real estate agent, perhaps you have bought a bunch of them for distribution. Or, you might have impressed upon your seller the reason why the carbon monoxide detector must be purchased and installed when the home goes on the market. You think you've covered all of your bases, and everything will be just hunky dory and peachy, well, I've got news for you.
