Congratulations to Terry Farr of Terry Farr Real Estate School!!!
Today was the meeting of the NC Real Estate Commission Educator’s Conference.  Most of the pre-licensing, post-licensing and continuing education instructors for North Carolina were in Raleigh for this annual meeting.  Lot of great information was passed out to us and we have a half day tomorrow.
The surprise of the day was at the luncheon meeting held by the NC Real Estate Educators Association.  Annually, they present the outstanding Educator of the Year Award.  Also, the NC Real Estate Commission presents their Billie J. Mercer Excellence in Education Award.  This year the recipient of both (very unusual) was Terry Farr, owner and lead instructor at Terry Farr Real Estate School in Fayetteville, NC.
What makes this so wonderful, he had no idea.  When the Chairman of the North Carolina Real Estate Commission called his name, Terry was sitting in total shock.  A complete surprise!
As a substitute instructor at his school, I am excited for him and also very proud of his accomplishment.
