Here are a few "Key Tips" for getting the most out of your BLOG! Great advice and information on points that I wasn't aware of until I read her post. For example, I never realized you recieved points for comments received on your own BLOGS after 3 comments. Very good to know! So ... now the goal is to make the article intersting, informative and intriguing to get it noticed!! 
One of the basics here on Active Rain is attracting readers.  And we hope that once they find out posts, they will comment and come back for more.  But I've noticed that a lot of bloggers, even some of the old timers, blog in patterns that discourage this from happening.
So here are some tips:
Don't "bunch" your posts:  We get points for 10 posts each week (225 points per post), at least if the post contains 50 words or more.  Then you get additional points if you get three or more comments, and that can add up to a total of 325 points per post.  Some members write all ten posts on one day (often Sunday).  And they are usually market or neighborhood reports using a boiler-plate format that are ... more
