There is No Perfect House
There is No Perfect House. I hear agents profess to be able to find the buyers the perfect house. Hogwash! IMHO there is no perfect house.
There are houses that have many features that will appeal to the buyer. There are houses that will suit the lifestyle of the buyer. There are house in the buyer's "right" neighborhood. But there are no perfect houses because even after the buyer moves in. they will wish it had something a little different. Buyer's need to accept compromise as part of the buying and selection process.
I speak from past experience. My husband built our dream house. It was not perfect and we had tons of input and even had hands-on control of materials used and subcontractors. We knew it backwards and forwards and it was not perfect.
It so happened we had to sell and relocate and we had the chance to build it again, this time it would be perfect. Not! We did make some of the changes that bugged us in the first house. It came closer to the mark but it still wasn't perfect. We still had to compromise for a great house but not a perfect house.
