Moanalua Gardens is in a beautiful neighborhood of mostly single family homes some townhomes, apartments and Senior Assisted housing, that rest conveniently on the in the  hills surrounding the "BIG PINK HOSPITAL" affectionately known as TRIPLER.
The location is far enough from the main hustle and bustle of the city that residents don't feel like the urban centers of Honolulu and Pearl Ridge are knocking on their door, but yet the location is such that it's close to work as well as play.
