Keep balances less than extended line of credit. Avoid disputes that result in collections or judgment's. Check you credit report at least once a year at AnnualCreditReport.com to be sure its accurate. Pay all accounts that are past due. Avoid making late pay a habit. Increase your credit limits, but try to maintain low balances. Use your credit wisely. Don't allow other's to use your credit. DO NOT close accounts. It can effect your score in a negative way if you had an account for any length of time.
