Lock Boxes A Metaphor For Today's Real Estate Market
Seriously?  That's what I said out loud as I approached this collection of lockboxes for condos that I was showing to my buyer.  

None of them were labeled.  How was I to know which one was the one I was looking for?  To not look like a total idiot in front of my client, I knelt down and took a stab at it.  I could eliminate certain lockboxes from my choices by type - I had a code - so now there were just several for me to choose from.  And guess what?  On my second attempt - I found the right one!!!!
I post this because after this experience and taking this photo, I realized that much of the confusion in buying and selling real estate comes from real estate agents themselves.  Our goal as agents should be to simplify real estate transactions - that's how we earn our commissions - making the experience as EASY as posslbe for our clients.
