Did You Smell Something?
Once, as I was showing homes to an eager couple looking to buy their dream home in a Northern suburb of Atlanta, we stumbled upon a Seller that was obviously or (obliviously) not schooled in what to do for Buyer's showings. We had made the necessary 24 hour advance appointment as required, so we did not suprise them by any means. Upon walking in the door, much to the horror of the couple, on the kitchen counter lays an inviting box of opens doughnuts with some roaches feasting on them, (not sure if they had an appointment, didn't ask..) But that paled in comparison to the ashtrays that were filled at least 2 inches higher that the rim. Not one, not two, but in every room. The whole home had a stench of cigarettes that may never come out. In the end, that prospective sale went UP IN SMOKE!!
