Houlihan's in Maple Grove Closing the Doors
I have to admit.  Houlihan's in Maple Grove was one of my go to places to get a bite to eat or to meet with clients that preferred a beer over coffee when meeting.  Sadly, it was announced that today (10-15-14) would be the last day the Maple Grove location would be open.  We all understand competition and profit margins, but Houlihans was one of the better places to go and was there at the start of the Maple Grove boom.  Now with literally dozens of places to eat in the Maple Grove area, the newest trendy place get's the business and the reliable, well established places slowly disappear as was the case with Champs Americana grill earlier this year.  

 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
During my career serving the Maple Grove areas real estate needs, I've seen restaurants come and go and I'm sure with the sure number of options and choices currently available to Maple Grove residents, many more will come and go in the future.  The building Houlihan's currently is in will be demolished and retail shops will be built in it's place.
