November in Denver means lots and lots of leaves for residents.  The City of Denver has come up with a solution for Denver Residents with an excess of falling leaves, The Denver Leaf Drop.  The city has several drop off sites where residents can take their un-wanted leaves which are then turned into compost and sold back to residents in May at Denver’s Annual Mulch Give Away and Compost Sale. 

In an effort to reduce the amount of plastic bags that are used to collect leaves each year, Ace Hardware is giving 5 free paper bags per person away when they preset this coupon.  Paper bags can be composted right along with the leaves contained in them.  Ace Hardware is running the promotion while their supplies last, however the same bags are only about $2.50 each so they are very affordable even if they are not free.
