GVBOR's 2014 Feed the Need Community Food Drive

 
This year marked the 4th Annual Greenbrier Valley Board of Realtors® “Feed the Need” community food drive in Lewisburg, WV. Through the efforts of the Greenbrier Valley Board of REALTORS® (GVBOR) and the support from our communities and businesses in the collection of non-perishable items, and cash donations, we had another successful food drive for the local food banks.  
 
A total of $8,604 was collected (includes donated items and cash) for the 2014 GVBOR Feed the Need Community Food Drive.  For the four years, the GVBOR has raised just over $30,804.
 
During the month of November, the Board members participated in food drives located at Krogers, IGA,Kmart, and Sav-A-Lot stores in Ronceverte; Jewell's IGA in Union, and Krogers in Rainelle.

 
 
 
Terri Baker, real estate agent with Home Style Realty & Design, again made an assortment of homemade cakes and pies for a cake auction that was held at the GVBOR meeting on Thursday, November 20, for the "Feed the Need" Food Drive.
