Retiring to Northern Colorado Fort Collins Loveland

 
SUBJECT:  Patio Homes - a nice way of life.
 
There are lots of us out there that do NOT garden.  We like vegetation sure, but we don't want to mow it, clip it, water it, etc.  We just want to look at it.  I am a grandmother but a few years off from retirement, so I've determined that a patio home is the way I want to live when I do retire.
 
Why is this relevant to Patio Homes, you ask?  Well by my definition, a Patio Home is a single family residence whereby the home owners association, for a fee, provides you with lawn care and snow removal.  Some even provide maintenance of the outside of the residence.  My suggestion is to find out by reading the covenants what exactly you are getting with your Patio Home.
 
Patio homes keep their resale nicely.  There have been many times in previous history in Northern Colorado, that townhomes and condos sat on the market because single family homes were affordable.  That being said, most people want the privacy a single family home provides and will purchase it over an attached home, if they can afford it.  Patio Homes hold their value because they ARE single ... more
