2015 St Leonard Keep Your Colon Rollin 5K

Did you know that the second most common cause of cancer-related death in Calvert County is colorectal cancer?  Only lung cancer deaths are higher.  The Calvert County Health Department wants to raise awareness for this very treatable disease by asking everyone in the Calvert County community to sign up for the 2015 St Leonard Keep Your Colon Rollin 5K this Saturday, March 28th.

The 2015 St Leonard Keep Your Colon Rollin 5K is going to take place this Saturday, come rain or shine.  Right now, the weather is looking like it will be in our favor, though, with rain on Friday but gone by race time on Saturday.  Participants can choose to either walk or run the 5K (3.1 miles).  It is also open to all ages.  Trophies will be handed out for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place male and female in each age group (12 & under, 13-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59 & 60+).  Registration packets will be handed out ... more
