Open Houses....They're Baaaack......
  Market conditions are different everywhere...and yes...we do know that "it only takes one" buyer and the house is sold.  For a long time....with a glut of homes on the market, time was better spent in other ways..Sellers less interrupted....and for us...Open Houses....during this time, were "closed".No traffic...no point.
     The market has changed...and southeastern Wisconsin....and Waukesha County are healthier markets than we have experienced in a long time....Yesterday was a day that no one wishes for an open house....the weather person had not looked at the calendar to know that spring had sprung.  Sigh....the first open with our new listing...all shined up and ready to see....staging done...some fresh paint, some new carpet....sooo excited...and such dismal cooperation from the weather Gods and Goddesses...Oh well. We had done some mega marketing and could only hope for the best.
   From the "feed them and they will come" philosophy...the chocolate dipped strawberries, petite Cheesecakes and nut cups were attractively arranged complimented by pastel plates and napkins.(Didn't photograph...imagined it would be treats left for the homeowner.)
    Welllll...26  Buyers later...the serving plate was bear...whispers of offers....and corner cell phone conversations with Realtors were everywhere !    Forget the weather...it was raining qualified Buyers ... more
