  San Marcos Rock Blues &BBQ Fest - Music, Community And Kids Friendly
More than twenty years ago, Dennis & Lorri Allen started their automotive business, Allen's Wrench. After one year of growing success, they decided to show their appreciation to their customers. Dennis got his band together and Lorri brought out her BBQ and together they had a day of music & food for their customers. The day was such a success, that they decided to do this every year. And with each year, the event grew and so did the bands. At one point they had eleven bands and served up over 500 burgers! Most of the bands were friends of the Allens, who would play for free, just to join in the fun. Bill Magee, Aunt Kizzyz Boyz and many other well known local artists, played every year.
