April 2015 Sharon MA Home Sales
All I can say is thank goodness Spring is here!  Sure, there's rain, but at least it isn't cold enough to turn it into feet of snow.  Buyers should be happy with the results of the April 2015 Sharon MA Home Sales Report.  That's because total sales have inched up slightly from last year while prices are actually a little lower.
The MLS Property Information Network is reporting that a total of 10 Sharon MA homes were sold between April 1 and April 30, 2015.  That is one more than were sold at the same time last year.  They were primarily purchased for under list price as well.  For example, a 3 bed/1.5 bath, 1266 square foot Bungalow in need of a little TLC sold for $275,000...$9900 under the list price.  And it was located within walking distance of the beach!  At the upper end of the market, a Buyer purchased a 4 bed/3.5 bath, 3687 square foot Colonial that is in the beginning stages of construction for $930,000.  That was $45,000 under the list price.
The average sale price of a Sharon MA home in April 2015 was $493,400.  This was a 2.7% decrease from April 2014 and the lowest average sale ... more
