I was curious to know what single family homes, below the $700,000 luxury home market threshold, sell for in Woodbridge Virginia.
So I logged in to the Metropolitan REALTORS Information Service (MRIS) and programmed the system to search for single family homes that have SOLD, in the Woodbridge area over the past six months.
Here is what I found out.
The average SOLD price was $400,389.  The typical home had 4 bedrooms, 3 full baths, 1 half bath, a 2-car garage, and sits on roughly 1/3 acre.  
During that time, homes were especially affordable due to especially low home mortgage interest rates.  The most common home loans were FHA and VA government insured loans with low or no down payments.
There are still plenty of homes in the $350,000 - $450,000 range, with 4 bedrooms, 3 full baths, 1 half bath, 2-car garage and finished basements in the Woodbridge area.  These homes are not foreclosures or short sales.  They are lovely homes, on quiet streets, with big yards, open-concept kitchens and family rooms, and finished basements.
