Food Donations Needed Nation-Wide / FeedingAmerica.org
With everyones' minds already on the four day weekend ahead and the big giant meal on Thanksgiving Day - I wanted to take a moment and remind my followers that there are many less fortunate, not just on Thanksgiving, but everyday.  We need to care for our own and make sure that all Americans have enough food.
FeedingAmerica.org is a great resource - an easy place to take action and help feed Americans.  According to their website, in the United States of America, 1 in 7 people struggle with hunger.  In a nation where many have too much, it seems wrong that so many people have to suffer in hunger.  In Feeding America's own words, "Feeding America is a nationwide network of 200 food banks and 60,000 food pantries and meal programs that provides food and services to people each year. Together, we are the nation’s leading domestic hunger-relief organization. Our network serves virtually every community in all 50 states, Washington D.C., and Puerto Rico."
