Orange County 2015 Year End Real Estate Snapshot
As a professional real estate agent, I believe it is important to understand the overall market of Orange County in addition to the local communities I regularly serve and practice business in.  Though Orange County is a pretty big county, that offers a variety of opportunities for real estate.. you can pretty much get to each side of it in about 30 minutes from anywhere in the county.   
So though Anaheim real estate sales are going to be different than say Lake Forest,, the overall trends should be somewhat similar.
A few highlights on the overall market that are important to look at..
Orange County 2015 Sales Volume was up 10% compared to 2014 Equity Sales were up 10% with 95% of the transactions came from Equity Sellers. Inventory starting Jan 1 was 4396, which is the 2nd lowest inventory we have had in over 10 years. Currently there are approximately 4542 homes on available to sell, which equals less than 3 months of inventory on the market.  Pending sales is out pacing the number of homes coming on to the market.
