Henderson ZIP code 89012 runs along Black Mountain and the hills of the McCullough Range, south of the I-215 beltway between Green Valley Parkway and the I-515 freeway. Because of the increased elevation, many homes have expansive views of the Las Vegas valley or world-famous Las Vegas Strip.
The District at Green Valley Ranch is a popular shopping and dining destination with choices such as Whole Foods, West Elm, REI, Pottery Barn, Williams-Sonoma, Cheesecake Factory, Lucille's Smokehouse BBQ, Lyfe Kitchen, and P.F. Chang's China Bistro.
Most of the homes in 89012 are zoned for Foothill High School, but those in Green Valley Ranch and a few other neighborhoods attend Coronado High School. Bob Miller is the predominant middle school, with residents east of Gibson attending Mannion. The elementary schools in 89012 are Kesterson, Newton, Twitchell, and Vanderburg.
