What Have Real Estate and Family to do With Science Fiction?
 
One thing I have noticed about most people who go into real estate is that we are usually family oriented people.  I am not sure if that is because our product, homes, are the heart of family life or if it is because home ownership provides stability and security for families over the generations as well as a basic wealth building tool. 
As family people we are often parents to people we feel are some pretty spectacular people, especially since we watch them grow from wide eyed children to adult hood. Our families are often the motivation to hang in there when things get tough, whether it is showing that 100th home to the couple who have been looking forever for a home they just don't seem to make a decision on or responding to that call in the middle of the night if we manage rental properties. 
Whatever the motivation there is nothing more rewarding than watching your children grow up and succeed when you have provided that solid foundation for them.
