Northstone is located east of I-77 about 5 minutes southeast of the Old Statesville and Sam Furr roads intersection.

Northstone is also convenient to 98-acre North Mecklenburg Park, which has walking trails and sports fields, as well as a variety of athletic fields.

Access to I-77 is convenient at either Sam Furr or Gilead roads. The I-77/I-485 interchange is only about 9 miles south of Northstone, which makes moving around the Charlotte area more convenient.
Center City is about 18 miles (30 minutes) from Northstone. Charlotte Douglas airport is approximately 35 minutes away.
