O‘ahu has more than it's fair share of beautiful beaches and surf breaks and sharing a day of fun, sun and surf with your ilio can be a worthwhile adventure for both you and your canine companion. 
 
If you are in Honolulu or near a heavily populated area on O‘ahu chances are that there is Pet Friendly beach nearby to enjoy with your pooch but it also means that there are more beaches and beach parks around that are NOT pet friendly, as well. 
  
Knowing which beaches on O‘ahu that allow pets and which do not helps protect our natural environment and endangered species here in Hawai‘i so please observe the No Dogs Allowed postings where ever they may be.
 
There are some areas on O‘ahu like Waikiki for instance where there is a line of continuous beaches that are divided between pet friendly and not. Waikiki, Kuhio, and Queen's Surf Beach are NOT pet friendly where as the Royal Moana, Grays, and Duke Kahanamoku beach are.
