Fact-check with a local REALTOR®
These days many "fake stories" on the news and internet can be found.  Unless we check into the facts further, we assume they are all true.  
 
The same is true in real estate.  Not sure how many times a client will do their own search and forward a property they are extremely interested in, which turns out that it was on the market . . . a few years ago and has sold.  
 
When searching for a property and one is found that is the "perfect fit" for you, double check the facts with your local REALTOR.  They can inform you if it is true or not.
Fact-checking. It is one of those buzzwords in the news lately. Facebook just announced that the company is working on a number of measures to get a handle on fake news that are being shared on its network. There's one (? I should fact-check that) person who thinks that his fake news business may have helped the PEOTUS win. Reading the excerpt from his interview with The Washington Post can make you mad! Fair warning.
