Assorted Kenya.......
By the time you read this, I will be in the air somewhere. My trip to Kenya has been incredible. I have seen and learned so very much. My conversations with those with whom I traveled were nice, but the discussions with those who call Kenya home were absolutely eye opening. While it is true that most of the locals I spoke to were in the service industry, I was struck by how  informed the people were well be beyond their own world. Ironic that those with so little know so much. Everyone wanted to discuss our elections, and this was true to in Qatar as well. I have always believed that Americans were generally self absorbed, but the more I travel the more I learn how much others know about the entire world, not just their backyard. Language also allows those who embrace learning to get more because they are more. I could go on, but will instead just post some more of  what I saw.
