Naperville IL Home sales up 8.8% in 2016!
Illinois' family friendly and list maker Naperville, IL ended 2016 with an increase of 8.8% in single family home sales over 2015!.  It had 1,927 closed home sales in 2016 vs. 1,771 in 2015!  A favorite city for families across the nation it continues to attract buyers that are affluent and enjoy the amenities of a big city without being in downtown Chicago.
 
Althought the median sales price of single family home stayed at $410,000, the average home price did increase by 1.2% to $450,633 from 2015"s $445,302!
 
Currently there are 203 homes available under $500K and another 300 over $501,000!  It currently has 6.4 months of inventory - which is much higher than neighboring towns.  This allows home buyers to have plenty of choices to pick from!
 
Currently there are 78 homes priced at $1 million or more!  For those that deserve the best and want the best but still want to be close to their jobs you can buy the 6 bedroom 7.3 bath home with over 10,000 sq. ft. at a mere $7,595,000! which is currently the highest priced home in Naperville!
