A Community Treasure - The Phoenix Art Museum
I've always had a love for the arts and as a result I've had a love affair with the Phoenix Art Museum ever since I moved to Phoenix almost forty years ago.
About The Museum
The Phoenix Art Museum is located at 1625 North Central Ave. 
The Museum opened in 1959 and has grown to almost 300,000 square feet.
The Phoenix Art Museum is the largest venue for visual arts in the Southwestern United States.

The museum displays international exhibitions throughout the year in addition to exhibits of it's own collection of more than 18,000 works.

It's no secret that I have a love of photography and the Phoenix Art Museum has a wonderful gallery dedicated to this wonderful art form, the Norton Gallery a gift of Doris and John Norton. When my husband and I owned a stock photo agency, here in Phoenix, we were fortunate to represent John Norton's images.
