Sellers are you reading the listing for your property? It doesn’t matter if it’s vacant land, residential or commercial property. If it’s on the multiple listing service (MLS) you want to make sure your property is presented in the best possible way. I’m not suggesting your write you own property description or take your own pictures. These are things you probably or should have asked about prior to signing your listing agreement with your agent.
 
Recently in my market I saw an MLS listing for an upper end house where the agent said there were no bathrooms. Now this is obviously an over site but somebody should have caught the mistake. Another HIGH end (7 figures) property had photos that were taken with the drapes closed and no flash on the camera. Honestly, the pictures could have been most any house. The prominent agent lost the listing after a few months.
 
Now even real estate agents are human, prone to mistakes like any other human being. But in the day of computers with spell check and free photo editing tools these sort of mistakes should be at a minimum. So if you’re selling some property look your ... more
