Being the best version of yourself is key to success
I don't believe there's ever been better advice offered on what it takes to achieve success than Henry David Thoreau's message on advancing confidently toward our dreams.   Many of us have seen and read the following quote more than once and appreciate it every time we see it.  There was a time that I kept it taped to the bottom of my computer monitor as a constant reminder.  It's making a comeback and will have a permanent spot on my corkboard.  This is only a small part of what Thoreau would share following his experiment at Walden Pond:    
“If one advances confidently in the direction of his dreams, and endeavors to live the life he has imagined, he will meet with a success unexpected in common hours.  He will put some things behind, will pass an invisible boundary; new, universal, and more liberal laws will begin to establish themselves around and within him; or the old laws will be expanded and interpreted in his favor in a more liberal sense, and he will live with the license of a higher order of beings.”
