OUCH! It's Flu Shot Time Again
Flu Season is quickly approaching and that means many of us are getting our flu shots.  I have had the flu and believe me, the shot is much better than a week in bed with the flu.
 
This year, they are offering a four component flu shot.  That means it should protect against 4 different strains of the flu.
 
I got my shot in my right arm yesterday afternoon.  They say that you should get the shot in your prominent arm because you use it more and it is less likely to hurt.  OK it still hurts and the Daffy Duck bandaid did nothing to sooth the pain, but this too shall pass.
 
You never know who you will come in contact with along your travels.  The person behind you in line at the grocery store could be carrying the flu virus, so don't hesitate, get vaccinated today.
