Are you prepared to travel in the cold?
This is important enough to re-blog.
Wiliam Feela has made some great points for being prepared when traveling.
You never now when you may get stranded.
People won't always stop for you either.
And if you are on roads less traveled it is even more important.
Read and take to heart!
Many people still are or will be traveling during this cold spell.
While I am wearing a medium coat and working outside, manyare freezing
at 45 degrees.
Those traveling in the colder regions need to prepare for the worst.
Windchill is the worst enemy in the cold.

If you have a car problem, stay in the car!
If you are on a less traveled road, make sure someone knows the road you will be on and when you should arrive.
Blankets and food and water can increase your chances of survival  if stuck for an extended periods of time.
There are many items to also have with you.
disposable hand and body warmers
matches
flashlight's
Additional clothing
A NEED HELP  sign
and a lot m ore.

Just stop and think about your travels.
Think about the weather and the roads being traveled.

Then plan accordingly.
Please Be safe!!!
