Sun City Grand, AZ Real Estate Market Report - Dec. 2017

The Sun City Grand real estate market finished 2017 with upward momentum heading into 2018. The number of homes sold in Grand for the month of December was up 44% over last year.   The average sale price was up 3% over November and up 7% year over year. The average days on market was 73, which is a 22% increase over November and 18% longer than December 2016.  The burn rate (number of homes currently under contract/homes actively on the market) is 2.33 months, which signifies a strong seller's market.  Currently there are 105 homes on the market in Grand and 79 under contract, which bodes well for January's market report. The 12 month moving average price, $295,850 continues to edge up, 4% versus 2016.
