Any Time Now Valeska Soares at Phoenix Art Museum
Phoenix Art Museum is one of the most interactive art museums that I have visited.
From the welcoming greeter at the entrance,
to the interactive maps named
"I am Here for the First Time", "I am Here with Kids", "I am Here on a Date",
to the Object of the month tours,
and the Scavenger Hunt engaging us to "Find. Observe. Start a Conversation" and
the "Make-It" art creation - these are just a few of the many ways it connects with its audience.
Valeska Soares: Any Minute Now is one of the art installations at the Phoenix Art Museum on display until 15 July, 2018. The artist takes seemingly ordinary everyday objects and arranges them in an interesting and unusual way that invite memories and reflections. Valeska Soares states: " I'm giving people triggers that activate memories and contexts, and they create their own narratives."
 
 
 I was looking at the neatly organized books on those bookshelves, and thought of a computer defragmenting that I had to do on my computer. The graphic that comes up when performing that operation so much resembles the view of this book collection.
