San Jose Murdock Neighborhood Association Summer Picnic Sat., June 16 
Summer is hear and it's time to celebrate with West San Jose's Murdock Neighborhood Association's member picnic on Sat., June 16 from 11 am to 3 pm at Murdock Park.
Featuring representatives from local police and fire stations, along with police cars and a fire truck, young people can learn and ask questions from these safety specialists in the area. Murdock Park Neighbor and City of San Jose District 1 Council Member Chappie Jones will also attend.
Member families can enjoy hot dogs and drinks, along with shared food dishes from many cultures, while meeting new neighbors and catching up with old friends. Membership is $10 and is open to home owners and renters who live in the Murdock Park Neighborhood.
The Murdock Park Neighborhood area is roughly bound by Johnson, Bollinger, Rainbow/Lynbrook High and Lawrence Expressway. Info can be found at http://www.murdockna.org.
