Foreclosure Starts May 2018
On June 19, 2018, Attom Data solution reported that nationwide 33,623 foreclosure started started in May of 2018 lower 1.0% from April of 2018, and fell 6.0% from May of 2018. While, there were 71, 949 foreclosure filings in May of 2018, higher 12.0% from April of 2018, but declined 12.0% from May of 2018. One in every 1,863 homes were in foreclosure, and State of New Jersey had the highest rate one in every 643 homes in foreclosure filing during May of 2018. Lenders repossessed 21,312 REOs in May of 2018, jumped 50.0% from April of 2018, but dropped 21.0% from May of 2017.
