Here’s a foodie alert for Encinitas residents, Carlsbadians and others in the North San Diego County area!
 
The 29th Annual Taste of Encinitas Food Festival takes place on Tuesday August 7th in downtown Encinitas.
 
Downtown Encinitas has a reputation as a dining destination, and more than 28 restaurants will take part in the 2018 Taste of Main Street Food Festival, on the Coast Road in downtown Encinitas from 5:30 until 8:30 pm.
 
It’s a tasty opportunity to sample food from your favorite restaurants plus try some new ones, all for the price of $45.
 
There are also 20 “sip” stops at local retailers and salons in the downtown area, with tastes of beer from local breweries and wine from Temecula’s popular wine country. Be sure to bring an ID if you plan to stop and sip wine and beer!
 
Other non-alcoholic beverages will be available – cider, coffee, tea, kombucha, juices and water.
 
Foodies can also enjoy music from 8 live bands at different locations, while tasting enjoy eating and tasting.
