Can you believe it?
I have a good friend who is in the process of looking for a house in the Dallas area.  She found a house with the help of a great buyer's agent. However, during the inspection, undisclosed water damage was discovered. Subsequently, my friend withdrew her offer.  After a few days, the sellers called my friend directly.  My friend ignored the call.  A few days after that, she recieved a letter from the listing agent asking her to reconsider and claiming that this house was the most soundly built home in the neighborhood. My friend is terribly upset by all of this and is contemplating making a formal complaint to the area association.
I served on the Grievance Committee for several years, so I've heard about a lot of stupid things that agents have done.  But it never ceases to amaze me that some agents are still in business.  And it offends me when this kind of thing makes all of us look bad.
Thoughts, anyone?
